It's very difficult to see people wearing black dress at night. In video its clear, but while driving we can easily miss it. I have had similar experience once when a guy wearing complete black dress crossed the road suddenly.

im a guy and 25 now, seen some shit in life and have avoided this kind of toxicity in general. OP, this happens when a "charming" personality or good physique is valued over peace of mind. so think about validation. say your professor and the chancellor in the college, whose validation would you seek the most of you had to? someone who follows a toxic trait would also seek external validation, usually form someone who's very well known in the social circle, cuz then, the social circle also follows validating the person. while it's not unusual or wrong to seek validation, it's very important to know what validation you are seeking.

i am not an introvert but I don't talk to a lot of people externally. my suggestion is nail your personality the best way you can. be it by reading books, crunching numbers or painting or singing. because then when you meet someone, you can keep up a conversation very well. you don't need to flirt tight away, but it feels good when you're complimented in a flirt way. confidence also matters, so if you know something is your strong point while you're in a social circle, hone in on the skill.
