I experience the exact same on my new blog(\~1 month old). No traffic from google since Feb 4, 2024 - which is weird because the content is niche, high quality and traffic was growing previously

I am so sorry you had to go through this OP. I myself reside in a nearby area, though in Dhankawadi, but in a fairly good residential area and not where these chapris are found but surrounded by good residential complexes... I say this because I know Dhankawadi is full of illiterate (or may I say even literate) goons... Even though I am a male, I too sometimes get creepy vibes while passing through Dhankawadi because this area I do see people who look like gangsters straight out of a Bollywood movie...

Do keep a pepper spray... Also keep some helplines as quick dials... You can find a few [here](https://pune.gov.in/helpline/)... Also, I have lost trust in BVP police due to various reasons but still, it's better to call police during such situations as it's their job to protect us...

Besides, if possible, during such times do call any friend of yours and start talking so that you can show that you are on a call as you can be calmed down (because we tend to get frightened as we are alone) and they are warned that look, if you try doing anything, you are being heard! And if possible, always walk in a space with a crowd and not secluded areas... Also, your idea of stepping in a shop was a good one, good thinking...🙂 Stay safe...
