Couple years ago I made a blunder of having a surgery from a ‘reputed’ gastroenterologist in Gurgaon. What was promised as a straightforward procedure with minimal pain and recovery time period, turned into a failed surgery and highest degree of pain I have ever felt in my life for almost 6 weeks, cost me approx. 1.5 lac(including OPDs, dressings, etc).

Eventually had to go for a second surgery in my hometown, which was a way simpler procedure, cost around 42 thousand(including everything), and a quick recovery of 20-25 days, with very less pain.

That maggot of doctor knowingly recommended a procedure with a higher failure rate and which would cost more. He showed zero empathy when I confronted him when the surgery failed, the maximum I got from him was “This usually does not happen”.

That was the most stressful period of my life. Law prohibits me from breaking his jaw and legs. These shitheads need to be regulated.
