Either caste exists and should exist or it doesn't. You can't have your official position politically as being against all caste based distinction yet socially collect all relevant information and keep an up to date record. If your position is to find some formula of power sharing amongst the different castes, then your political movement is a sham.

Some people are traditional and want  a clear split role.  They will want to do the job and have the wife take care of the house and kids.  As long as they have an understanding and neither partner is overstressed, that is alright.

Or any tiny or huge incident they have faced on that particular day will also be shared and it will carry on until you reach your destination.
