My amma and appa use to go for walks on ecr every morning. I kept telling them its not safe to and just stroll around our locality instead of going on to the main road. On fine day while I was blissfully asleep i get a nonchalant call fromy dad saying something happened to me ma and I need to come to the hospital pronto. He didn't tell me anything other than a small accident. I hurry myself there and I was devastated to see my mom in that condition..some apache rider had crashed into her while trying to avoid a car which had taken an erratic turn. Her cries that day still haunt me. After an exhaustive 7 hour surgery she came out and was the happiest person I ever was or ever been. She is slowly recovering but is still limping a bit but the limo is slowly getting better as days go by.

But I did not confront that dude who crashed into my mom..I could have gone ballistic on him as my anger at that moment was unimaginable but..I resisted, thinking of all the times I've ridden my bike recklessly. I reflected upon the umpteen times i have been stupid on public roads, while I always assumed I was well within my limits but the few times that I have crashed I thanked the good lord there wasn't anyone at the recieving end. Was it karma? But why my mom than me? Karma is cruel and it sucks!
