Kochi has been the blueprint for multicultural ever since Muziris fell..some say even before that. It's actually nothing new here. Core Kochi city has always been multicultural..you can find Konkanis,Tamils and Gujaratis..they own a good amount of realestate in and around Ekm market area. Pinne ipo latest ayitu we have Bengalis and Biharis both from working class. we are not actually affected by the influx of people from other big cities and cultures. Kochi has always had a floating crowd.

Now here is what has changed in this whole scenario..we are aware of what happened in Bengaluru after their IT boom...not infrastructure-wise..but culturally with Hindi. So with that in the picture I cannot say how things might pivot if a proud Hindi speaker tries to push attitude down our throat.

Look for the companies which have stood the test of time for the past 1-2 decades which are leaders in their respective businesses & if they are available at a comparatively lower valuation, buy them as a part of the dip (Asian Paints, HUL, Hero Motorcorp, Tata Motors etc). Abhi Vodafone, Yes Bank, Swiggy wagera loge toh definitely "Don't buy the dip"!!
