Yes. When it comes to TV shows, I look at the amount of episodes there are and calculate how many hours it will take to watch them all. If we're looking at 10+ hours, that always puts me off.

When it comes to video games, I look at how long it will take to acquire every achievement. I always go for them all. Anything that's over 50+ hours is generally a no go at this point.

It's the overwhelming thought of starting something and knowing how long it's going to take to finish it.

I watch a tonne of YouTube, because a video is probably only 10-20 minutes on average. There is far less investment to watch a video.
