But, that’s my internal barometer. It’s bad form to dismiss the real problems people have with the state of things. But I just hope that people can see, things are progressing. Keep raising concerns and keep pushing for progress. It only got this far bc I was once a youth (in the days of yore 5-ish years ago) who was annoyed about the state of things too.

I watched something recently that said, maybe your parents didn't try their best. Did they give others in your family, community, their job etc. better care and attention than you? If yes, then no, they didn't do their best for YOU because they gave their best to someone else they liked more or wanted to impress more. It's okay to be angry. These are valid feelings. Sit with them and feel them.

Once you are ready to heal the wound, accept that your parents had their own reasons and problems and karma. You also have problems too.
