More than a couple of weeks back I was stuck in traffic with my dog seated behind in my car at sector 12, kharghar. All of a sudden a loud bang comes from behind. On getting down I see a gaothan rickshaw guy who seems to be high with 4 passengers has smashed his vehicle on the back of my car. Fortunately nothing happened to my dog. Although the passengers got hurt.

Took the rickshaw guy to the cops in sector 7, kharghar. He used his 'badly injured' card in front of cops. And the cops took him to the hospital. Nothing happened to him though as no complaint or action was taken against him. I was given some shitty paper by the cops to get my insurance claim done.

I took him to cops thinking had this unruly driver smashed from behind to a two-wheeler then the rider would have been seriously injured or even dead. Cops would have harassed him for sure some cash, he may have been injured and could be off the street for a couple of months. But no justice was served. He may be unruly like many other people in this city. I just pity for the two-wheeler riders. It just isn't safe for them and cops are so lame in their work that accidents are not taken seriously at all.

I do think a lot of buying a new bike but such careless accidents and shitty police system makes me think twice.
