Almost trading at book value. The main thing i am having this in my portfolio is Promoter Integrity. If this bank sinks, Hinduja group would readily put more money to bail it back unlike ambani where they put the loss on public banks and file for bankruptcy.

There is a expectations that some of banks loans may go non performing, and is attributed to their bit risky loan provisioning. But they have already allocated contingency fund in the last quarter to cover the loss incase those loan go NPA, so right now market is either over reacting or just bringing it down with broader trend.

I am holding for long time, at least 3 years.

Man, I find it ironic that this is a sub about politics yet the people in it don't understand that the basic need in politics is strength in numbers.

For Democrats to get something done they need the numbers in Congress to do it.

Moved to Naigaon East from Andheri earlier this year. Big mistake. When my family first started floating this idea of moving somewhere away from the city, I didn't pay much attention to it. I thought Vasai, it'll be okay. Change of scenes. And I didn't intend to live with them for long anyway.

Well, it's been months, and I'm still here. And boy, what a shithole. Heart of darkness. In many parts of Mumbai, you get a feeling that it's no country for poor people, and they are oppressed by the grind. Here in Naigaon, it seems like the victory is total, with no hope for the common person.

Before moving to Naigaon, I thought it would be clean air, nature and beach close by. Turns out that happens to be Naigaon West, which is basically Vasai. Over here on the East side, there are bunch of ugly monstrous private townships. And they're still building more. The whole city is under construction. Heat and dust everywhere. There are hardly any sidewalks.

Only way in and out of the city is the local. And what an absolute shitshow that is. Getting to the train station from east is a nightmare. Auto unions rule with an iron fist. No outside autos can drive on their routes to and fro station, otherwise they get beaten up and trashed. So with the only option being these meter-less shared autos, they pack five(!) people in one. Three in the back, two on either side of the driver. After a couple of times, I just started paying 5x15 for a single one way ride (one that would cost 23 in the city). And once you get off at the station, you have to walk 200 meters through a noisy, smelly, crowded bazaar to get to the platform. At night, there's a shortage of rikshaws, and the queue stretches to like 50 people. I feel selfish & guilty when I jump the queue, hop into one and tell him to book it. But I just wanna get out of there and don't wanna deal with all that bs.

God I fckn hate it here. There's nothing to do. Zero places to hang out. Not a single cafe or restaurant. No parks. Zilch. Nada. Haven't met a single person around here. Meanwhile it seems like the population keeps exploding, straining the already congested transport systems
