Call me an elitist but Bollywood forgot to cater to the single-screen folks and Tollywood is doing that hence finding a growing audience. Years of dubbed movies on Sony Max have also created somewhat of a familiarity with the audiences in the heartland and working classes.

Also, not all Tollywood movies are becoming hits, the media just focuses on the big masala ones. Plus Baahubali's impact has opened the audiences more to what's being made in Telugu.

Source: Me as a Telugu who frankly finds Telugu cinema to be horseshit, not that Bollywood is so great but it doesn't make me cringe/gag as much as Telugu does.

1. Quality must be good (dont be too harsh upon yourself in the beginning)

2. Prepare to embrace the fact, its going to take a long time to develop any traction.

3. 4. Keep repeating, and improving the quality. If there is a utility for your content you'll get there.
