Rant: I hate the fact that my roommate plays my PS5 more than me
You are not pissed at him for playing your PS5 rather you are mad on your own life where you are always busy and have no time for yourself to play or to do anything else whereas there is one another person doing all things that you wish for. -

Opinion: Hindus and mods in this sub should create a thread for political discussion around the world where there are significant hindu populations and Should endorse a Political Party which suits us before each election.
Political administration MUST not get mixed with religion, business, sports, science, arts, culture etc. Because this process is not an one way street.
If politics gets tainted with religion, few religious hotheads may feel they got political power. But that will also lead to destruction of the religion itself. Because as religion got into politics, politics will get into religion. Then fake religious leaders, with no understanding of their religion, but just by political support will mushroom and eventually destroy what the religion stood for.
It's the same with science or business or sports or culture. If some scientists or businessmen or sportsmen or artists get political power, they may try to do good for their brethren. But then politics will get into business or sports or science. Then people who have political power will call the clout and not true caliber people with knowledge and skill for their subject.
This has happened in the past many many times. Sanatana dharma has sustained for thousands of years facing onslaught of buddhism, jainism, islam, christianity etc etc because it was a people's movement spearheaded by spiritual leaders and not thrust on by the kings.
Sambandar, Appar, manickavasagar, Shankara, Ramanuja, Madhva etc etc were even opposed by the kings or the political and religious establishment of their days and they made the dharma survive. They were at equal distance with all kings and establishment of their day. Other religions and cults that prospered for short time due to political support, eventually lost. -
