About FireVault, if disabled the data is encrypted using a key stored in your SoC (so only your specific SoC can decrypt your data, and since it just loads to macOS then its impossible to get your data). If you enable FireVault the data is encrypted using that key AND your password (so only your SoC used by you specifically can decrypt the data).

This is a very big channel with good content. I like watching his videos and the reason he has comments turned off is probably because he makes videos with his family/kids. Comments probably have some weight in the algorithm, but this channel is already so big with a loyal following that they don't need to rely on comment engagement. This is the type of content that deserves to be trending imo.

I also subscribed and was a very good experience. The content is really good and helped me ask some deeper questions about my current life conditions. The subscriptions is still very expensive in my opinion. I think they could have greatly reduced their cost if they reduce the amount of mindless marketing they have been doing. They can also generate big revenue through YouTube advertisements but I can understand if they don't want to be dependent on the mercy of capitalistic institutions.

I also have a lot of respect for Acharya Prashant amd listen to him on youtube suggestions, but do not subscribe to the app anymore as Ive found it expensive for the value it provides. Great discourses from Alan watts and many other great gurus are available free of cost online.

App subscription it is donation based so that money you pay is extracted in a very communist way where more you make more you will have to give. I totally disagree with this idea. I think there should be the same price tag for everyone. It would work better for foundations goals if they sold it simply as a product and then have the donations options voluntary. Here some people who also achieve financial success as a by product of their spiritual progress could choose to donate as much as they please.

For now I dont pick up any calls from the foundation. I'll may be simply buy and read some of AP's books in the future.
