Check if your is train is halting at surat station or udhna as renovation is in progress, many trains are halting at udhna and not at Surat.
You also get train from udhna to bardoli. Check for timings. If you are deboarding at Udhna, you will have to go to surat bis station (which is near to surat railway station)
