Bhai, offence mat lena.... Lekin kis culture ki baat kar rahe ho aap.... I'm domiciled in UP and I've lived in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi and now I'm in UP .... I've never faced a more ossified and obtuse system than UP anywhere in India.... Yes, I was called 'bhaiyaji' in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, and Northie in Bangalore but never faced explicit hostility there....

The amount of subjectivity, casteism, inter-personal hostility, lack of civic sense, aggression, exploitative behaviour, rowdyism and animosity that you find in UP is unmatched.... There is no cohesion among society here and everyone is out there to tear each other apart....

I was a Nayab Tehsildar in a mid-sized UP district until recently and I've seen to what extent people can stoop just for a small parcel of land.... Brothers are fighting and killing brothers for a खेत की मेढ़ which is not more than 20 sq. mt.... and worth nothing in market....

And don't even get me started on casteism.... Boy, there is no cohesion among general castes and utter hostility among caste hierarchy.... A brahmin or baniya will lick the boots of anyone, against his own caste person, just to get a small favourable treatment.... A general caste person will slit the throat of his own caste person if it gets him a small favour....

And you want all this on a national level..... 😆😆
