Sex education is still lacking in schools. Teenagers who are unaware still make period jokes. None of them are aware of what women go through during the period cycle. In fact, a lot of guys from my generation knew about "sex" from porn. Even when sex education is covered( not directly but as reproduction in biology), it is done in a cryptic way.

Sambhaji Maharaj, Rajaram Maharaj, Tarabai, Shahu Maharaj and later the peshwa always tried to live by his vision. Mention of Maharaj and his vision of Swarajya is often mentioned in many letters.
Bajirao for example has been known to chose Shaniwarwada site as it was pious and near to lal mahal which was where Shivba spent his child-hood.
I would also give credit to Raja Ravi Varma whose painting of Raje became the inspiration for many freedom fighters.
