Just speak marathi everywhere you go. Yeah even outside speak marathi. The thing is marathi is losing prominence in tier 1 cities in MH. Your language is only limited to your home. But they want hindi to be the sound of the streets. Hindi is what echoes in tier one city in MH. This is how marathi loses prominence. Can you speak marathi outside and get your work done ? If not then that's the answer you have to be dependent on hindi, and your language has lost prominence.

If you don't want this. Then just stick to Marathi.
