gosh, it’s so true. i interned in kochi last year (i too, was 22) for six months, and there was this one uncle at the office who kept asking if i’d like to grab beers with him after work. he was also way too interested in whether i had a boyfriend. then there were three other guys, they were 25, who were equally inappropriate—one even tried to kiss me in his car just a week into my internship when i was still new to kochi, and he often dropped me home while i was still new to the city. another guy would call me late at night, leaving missed calls and even asked for nudes or photos of me in my bra. they were all unbearable. overall, my experience in kochi was great, but people like this really ruin it.
