Man! First of all, don't aim to go to the same college. If after the exams you get the chance for the same college then go for it otherwise just give your best in the exams. I mean yea friendship goals are a thing but yea this is JEE, 14 lakh students are giving the exam so be practical. Tell him to not get demotivated now and just focus on Priority A and B in the list provided by Mathongo. Sequence and series se aise bhi 1-2 question aate hai. Aur Maths mai 40 ke around toh 95 percentile ban jaati hai. Tell him to not overthink stuff and focus on what's important rn. Keep giving mocks and practicing PYQ's. Boards ke liye he can focus after Mains first attempt. Maine bhi diye the, Physics ka paper ka hi level accha tha, aur sab toh JEE ke baccho se hojayega. I also scored 91 percentile in my Mains last year. I got 90+ in P.Ed , English and Maths. Chem mai 85+ and Physics mai 75+. Not that Boards is easy but yea Allen waale most probably kara denge prep, mai Kota mai tha toh hame toh karaya tha Boards ki classes deke. Tell him ki there's still time and he can boost his score if he focuses on high weightage topics first cuz iss baar competition is even higher and we don't know kaisa paper aayega. So just focus and keep studying, don't listen to anyone but your teachers, ek baar Allen ke teachers se bhi baat karne bolde usko, just for reference and tell him to not get demotivated. And stop comparing, sabke seekhne ki speed alag alag hoti hai. Best of luck, let's give our best in competing against each other!

Could you specify what is the main reason behind speaking English without fear. I'm specifically asking, whether the reason is to get an IT Job[where there is communication rounds like SVAR, group discussion and HR interview]

1)If you are interested in watching anime and if you have time watch simple anime like death note and Naruto in english it would be better start for you. I PREFER you to imitate like the characters aloud

2)Watch youtube channel which speaks geopolitics and economical case studies in English. Here is my suggestion watch "Think School" it wouldn't be boring, this channel really helped me to Crack group discussions and interviews. Watch English podcasts channel there is this guy called "beerbiceps" who make podcasts with various big people and various concepts.

3)Gaslight your friends if they're not interested to coordinate you that if we don't speak English then we wouldn't get placed and select a topic about anything like a game or a newly released movie and then talk about [make sure you use new jargons] l

4)Try to pronounce words correctly, use app like duolingo which now teaches intermediate English which could help you to clear communication round like SVAR

5)Try to use different phrases like "cherry on the top" etc.. in your conversation inorder to freely communicate
