One rule I think everyone should live by, in any relationship irrespective of the marriage factor, is 'would you like it if you were on the receiving end of it' and that I think answers 99% of your questions.

Once you allow yourself to cheat on your partner, you think it's normal and can do it without losing (whatever left) feelings for your partner or getting attached to the extra person, until you can't.


One feels lonely in a relationship when they don't feel appreciated enough or can't talk about anything and everything to their partner. Would suggest you to start with improving your communication and make things easier for yourself or else you'll keep wanting to run away from this feeling (by switching from one person to another) which is bound to occur once in a while.
