Dont give them anything wait without or say i need to first speak to a British Embassy member about it. Ask before getting into a taxi. At the airport someone pick up your luggage say no. The will take it to the door and ask for a.lot of money. Dont take taxi from someone who recommended someone in the street. Speak to middle class families with childern. They will be.able to speak English and would like to help you on your way. Speak to other international tourist. Watch out for groups of lads. Keep away. If you look indian but dont speak an Indian language keep your mouth shut. Most people may think you know more than you do. Danger compared to some part of london. No is going to kill you. They may try to over price something but that about it. Meet like minded people on line and go visit them. Pay for your food or even better their food. They will enjoy your company and you will get a inside. Look up bloggers who travel to india. See what they say and do.
