I haven't watched the movie but I saw a scene from salaam bombay where the boy was getting written a letter for her mother in which he says "everything is good here but sometimes I miss you at nights" by irfan khan's character. But he runs out of money to pay for extra words so he has to cut down his lines.

The boy is 12-13 years old, begging in the shitty city of Bombay and doing dirty jobs.

Grave of fire flies also fucked me. Never going to watch that movie again.
