And then from there a mini van or an e rickshaw to ongc chowk from where IDT is at walking distance ( around 200m ).

This would be most comfortable in my own opinion if u don't know anyone in ddun. ( and want to stay within a budget ).


But if you r not on budget then book a taxi probably as there would be no hassle of changing means of transport.

Won't recommend particular hotels but you could probably find home stays and decent budget hotels near garhi cantt side.
