I’m pretty sure you guys didn’t go to the govt owned silk factory or sandalwood factory because these auto guys don’t get a cut there. There are many fake ones which thrive on tourists. The legit silk factory is near Ashokapuram on the way to NIE college and quite out of the way from palace. They have an outlet opposite to the zoo though.
