Let's be practical here. Kanpur is Tier 2 city. You cant compare a MNC in Tier 1 city with Tier 2 city. Kanpur still lacks proper infrastructure and professional environment. Most importantly the mindset. I have seen people who live in Tier 1 city have very progressive mindset. You get business based on your office location. Today you might get support from state government, tomorrow if govt changes, you will think of shifting your office just because of govt policies. Cities like Mumbai, NCR , Bangalore are established with migrants due to corporate offices. Govt would favor them because they attract revenue and taxes. The amount of exposure and opportunities you get is directly proportional to where you are working.

Thane me star dekhna is impossible.. recent astronomical event (atlas comet) was bright enough to be visible..but stars.. not possible.. u can observe some brightest stars but theres no fun in that.. i would suggest u to go karjat etc or take a trip to shirdi, ajanta - ellora.. observe the night sky from that area.. i spent my 6 years in ahilyanagar (ahmednagar) and was astonished to see the beauty of night sky..
