Firstly Historical Movies aren't that much made in Bollywood.
Secondly, Maratha and Rajput Empire gained the ground only in recent times before that it was mostly about the Mughal Sultanate.
Thirdly, Even the Cholas being one of the biggest empires in Indian History got no major Bollywood Production. Tamil Film Industry themselves had to make movie about it.

So It's unlikely they would make it.
Leave historical films, Most of their normal movie stories are based on few selected locations such as UP, Mumbai and Punjab. If you're expecting an epic based on Ahoms from Bollywood then it might take decades or even centuries. So the Assamese film industry must make it themselves after a huge market expansion.
