Earlier I get to know about jamabandi land records in haryana ( we can see all land holding records for haryana there) and there is also a website that shows the actual land location on satellite map.

So I just looked up land records for my village guess what I found.

1. The main road was 2 Lane for each sides in record, but in actual it looks more like 1/2 Lane both sides, all encroached by people, traffic in my village is worse than in a city

2. The past sarpanch has lot of land holdings, which doesn't justifies his income at all.

3. Land for pond in almost 50% covered with houses

4. Mostly state govt lands eg gaushala land, community centre etc are some way or other taken by someone illegally.

These are the information that are open to everyone, but yet we still choose to be blind.

Or as you said more like we are just lazy to hold anyone accountable and let it go by.
