Same bro same. All though I have time to make friends, I just don't like to interact too much with people. In office i do interact with few and also with some people in gym but somehow they are older than me. On weekends somehow my time goes with playing badminton, gym and naps. So pretty much no time to make friends and i don't have idea how to find friends too.

We need a working bus service before any metro.

Metro's are useful for high traffic, medium distance travel. Distance like 5-25km is usually considered apt for metro.

Now for most people living inside the City. Metro's will probably never help as usual travel distance are around max 10KM (considering areas inside the city and not the factory outskirt areas like especially on GT road. ).

Another reaosn is Volume will never be met. If metro is 2KM from your home/place of work, but there is no other form of public transport. The metro becomes practically useless and no one is paying autos/e-rickshaw another 20-70 to reach the end destination.

Another reason is roads are not wide enough at all places. You need wide roads for overhead metros. I can agree that Pakhowal Road, Ferozepur Road, Chandigarh road, Gill Road can do it, but the current flyovers and major junctions will make the work harder. (One more factor is the delay we face for each project(especially by our dear local builders)

Coming back to my first point. We need a good paid but affordable AC bus service just like all cities have it ( Even we had it at a time but corruption zindabad ). So that demand could actually be predicted on public transport. There are very few private players (who don't follow any rules) which provide this service but that's mostly for linking nearby towns/villages.

Same. I live alone but have never felt lonely. I have a small circle of friends, and we meet occasionally. I'm not opposed to making new friends, it just hasn't happened. Maybe because I've never felt the need for more.
