I'm a 28 y.o. ex-NEET, have been working in a new job for about 2 weeks.

The answer is to lie/exaggerate in your resume. Everyone does it to some extent, and the recruiters know that it's part of the "game", they're not dumb.

For low entry jobs they don't really do much of a background check. As long as you're presentable, polite and have a good attitude it's just a matter of making up a bunch of BS jobs and having solid backup stories in order to get hired.

Bonus points if they're jobs in a foreign country since they have no way of verifying it (that's what I did), but also make sure to sprinkle in some unverifiable experience in your country as well.
