But US and Indian politics are barely ideological… There is no proper gameplay btwin Right and Left… unlike forward countries in EU… whenever there is no ideology for a party, there tends to opportunity bias which makes them celebrate rather than Mourn for a sad incident…

There are a lot of great explanations so all I’ll say is this: to me Hinduism is not a religion, it’s all about peace, love and equality. Imo, if you detach yourself from materialistic needs and respect every single living being, you’re a hindu :)

I live with parents and not doing chores for them is a trigger for them to yell at me to get a job. As long as I do everything they ask I live in relative peace. It’s a toxic dynamic, of course, it’s only enabling me to stay like this, they love having someone to order around although they’d never admit it

I live in France and I pay 2€ in a tier 1 city for unlimited travel for up to an hour and can use the same ticket for bus, metro or tram. And the public transit is pretty good within cities with regular connections and buses. Some tier 2 cities have also introduced free transport for residents irrespective of age, gender or income and only the visitors would have to get a ticket. There are talks of introducing free public transport in my city as well but I guess we are a few years from implementing it. Geneva for example has free transport for the visitors too. I know plenty of people who leave their car at home and use the public transport within the city and use the car only when they are traveling outside. I'm in one of the higher tax paying brackets and this isn't something I would complain about.

I know comparing India to Europe is like comparing apples to oranges but considering the traffic woes in our country's major metropolitan cities, I think our government should tax cars more and introduce similar schemes for the residents which would put an end to all these discussions. Use those funds to improve the cycling and public transport infrastructure, unify transit networks and encourage the public to use them which would improve the general mobility of public and reduce traffic & pollution instead of introducing these divides. But no, our netas only want to make money to line up their pockets and introduce these divides so they can continue getting votes!

What a dumb post. Gold exists in nature. Bitcoin exists in computer technology. Take away electricity and computers and suddenly bitcoin is not usable. I hate it when bitcoin is compared to gold because it just ends up making bitcoin looking stupid.
