Just curious - have you had your own attorney review all the relevant corporate documents ( including minutes of the corporation) AND every one of your contracts, including ALL compensation ‘ promises’? Has your own attorney advised you of your rights vs the company rights?

This is the only way you know your own risks.

I watched a CEO totally screw over two of his ‘partners’ while they trusted the ‘corporate’ attorney to review their contracts ‘because they had minority stakes’ ( which in reality gave them no control over anything. )

We were also backed by BIG NAME international VC firms. ( One of those firms brought me into the deal.)

Doesn’t matter who backs the firm. Get your own attorney to go through your contracts and make sure you know the ‘ down & dirty’ — because whether you like it or not, reality can, and usually does, get ‘down & dirty.’

Until you face reality you can’t decide what to do next.
