Mysore is indeed a beautiful city but it’s truly unfortunate that eve teasing and stalking women has become weirdly normalised here. I got followed by a creepy looking man in the early hours of morning, got cat called by some other men near the hill steps and a drunk man sitting in a passing auto tried to touch me while I was standing and drinking tender coconut. I screamed at him and no one did anything. I was so shook! It’s too fresh a memory. These are the incidents that happened on my 3 day trip that I had to cut it 2 days. No one says or does anything here.
