Spirit of Mumbai
This state government has completely neglected Mumbai. Actually that’s not going far enough, it’s extracting money from Mumbai for personal use. -

Couple Gets Married At Police Station After Wedding Called Off Over Food
If he was calling off marriage over just food then I don't really see a bright future for the bride. -
Tf did i just see 🙂
She is wrong on so many levels -
1) Women are less capable of handling stress.
The example she gave that men experience stress they go to their friends' circle, party, and feel better, which could be true for some, but it is not a general fact.
Men are more likely to use avoidance-based coping strategies, such as distraction or substance use, which may not always be effective for chronic stress.
Women tend to express emotions more openly and seek social support, which can help in long-term stress management.
Research indicates that men often perform better under time-sensitive stress, whereas women excel in multitasking and long-term stress endurance.
2 ) That men do risky jobs because money is the main goal.
That's not true, men do riskier jobs due to higher testosterone levels.
But just because men do riskier jobs doesn't mean they do all Blue Collar jobs. Or will continue to do so if there were better social equality.
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), women make up 42% of India’s agricultural workforce, which is highly labor-intensive and lacks the benefits of "AC rooms".
Reports by TeamLease and Economic Times (2023) show a 35-40% increase in female participation in blue-collar jobs post-pandemic, especially in manufacturing, logistics, and delivery services.
Also there are places where the female population in bluecollar jobs makes up 60% of the total population. Specifically in southern states.
Also there are several reasons why women don't go for Blue Collar jobs -
1) Women are statistically paid atleast 15-20% less than men are. And you can say it's because men do more work, not true because we are talking about same hours.
You can say it's because they did more work in the given time, not true because the majority of Blue collar jobs give money per unit of work done.
2) Safety facilities aren't designed for female bodies, which makes it much more dangerous for them.
3) Increased possibility of physical and sexual violence.
Even when there is a possibility, given the trends that there are going to be more women in BLUECOLLAR jobs, Men are probably still going be more in specific higher risk jobs given their biological physical advantage, just like there are only women giving birth.
We are equal not because we are the same, we are equal because we are humans. Just that. I don't understand how, as humans, we can have the audacity to believe that equality can ever be based on similarity, given the diversity in our species.
Also, equality doesn't mean that all sectors and industries will have the same ratio of men and women. There are always gonna be certain biases in choices men and women make. Equality means even in a specifically male/female dominated industry, people aren't distracted against and are able to get the job they want if they are qualified for it. -
Only three Indian batters to have 50+ batting average after minimum 40 ODl innings.
What Dhoni and Gill has got is Special....But to maintain all those Stats for 280+ innings (VK) is Immensely Insane!!! -

You need better user guides. Enterprise companies don't like to to hear the term "gamify." -

Guru, Bunty Aur Babli, Kank, Dostana , he was nice in Ludo also. -
Unpopular opinion: Shilpa is the most annoying contestant in BB 18. Probably the reason why the TRP is so low.
She had better friendship with VIVIAN. Chum, Shilpa and Vivian used to spent lots of time together and have nice conversation in LF. BUT makers tried to built a storyline around Karan, so her nicer sides did not make it to episodes. They used her for KARAN’s betrayal story, poor KARAN, still he is supporting her after back stabbing.. KARAN knew he was getting sympathy, used her to the end.
If Karan ARJUN story HAD GONE FORWARD, she was sure shot top 3 -
What does a Hindu service look like?
Namaste 🙏
It's wonderful to see you interested in the Hindu culture. We have something akin to Mass service but it's called Puja.
Usually people have bath post their daily morning routine and head to the temple. The Temple priest arrives very early, at the Crack of the dawn. Accordingly He is tasked with supervising the cleaning of the premises outside the Garbgriha ( the holy sanctorium with the main deity ). He removes the flowers offered for the previous service.
He washes the idol with water, milk, coconut water applies Chandan, haldi and sometimes some deities are given oil bath. Post this the deity is adorned with clothes, jewels and flowers and they offer fruits, sweets and incense. Then there is something called Aarti, where people sing hymns, offer dhoop, diya( oil lamps). The priest will chant mantras, specific prayers. They than distribute the prasad to all the devotees who visit.
This is main service, at night similar puja happens minus the bathing and dressing the deity.
People who visit offer flowers, sweets, money, incense and the priest will speak on their behalf to the deity and tell the blessings they seek. Some people meditate, others just pray and then leave.
Some temples have ponds or holy water kund where devotees have to wash their hands and feet or wet their head before entering the premises. -
Name that one cricket player whose performance
Those who are trolling Surya for ICC performance-
1. 68(40) vs SA 2022 when whole team collapsed like a house of cards.
2. 47(38) vs ENG 2024 partnership with Rohit Sharma's 57(39) that was needed the most.
3. 49(47) vs ENG 2023 when Kohli went for 0 and Rohit was only player who scored 50+ \[87(101)\].
He hasn't been well in ICC finals but has performed in crucial situations. -
