Getting a 7 CGPA in your first sem is really bad for academics and career. What’s your excuse? If you didn’t have anything better to do then at least maintain a good CGPA, don’t waste time work harder and improve.

Start small. Get a tent and some other gear and leave for the amount of days, you can carry on your back (food and water wise). Try to find ways of making these trips longer, as you go.
You will need some kind of base, when you do this. So keep your current living situation, if you can, during this learning process. Think hard about where you want to live, because different locations will either make your life easier or harder
