The face of change. No matter what kind of change he brings it will certainly be different. See man i have given up on Bihar long ago because of the people. I don’t wanna waste my time on trying to change the mentality of people. But if this guy is willing to do that. The list i could do is to give him a chance.

Around 2016-17, I volunteered with an NGO called Navodaya for a couple of months, that works specially for the rehabilitation of Trans people.

Following are some of the things that I learnt there. The remainder is left to your best judgement.

1. Most of the trans people have to run away from their homes as they are ill-treated and tortured to no end by their families and the people around them.
2. Almost all of them are so traumatized that they leave their houses without basic and necessary documentation.
3. As almost all of them lack documentation, (and also because they are trans people), they do not get proper jobs to earn a decent living.
4. Because of their orientation, they are not really welcome in whichever place they run away to. Hence, they take shelter in a system called "Gharana" where they co-exist with other trans people.
5. Now because they don't get jobs to earn a living, they have to end up begging and/or indulge in prostitution.
6. The govt. and the civic authorities have initiated various schemes for the transgender folk. However, lack of documents again renders it useless.
7. Apart from jobs, what they need is proper counseling, rehabilitation, respect and the right to live with dignity.

Let's not give names to the city like "The capital of transgender prostitution". Instead see what you can do for them. Let the next generation learn good deeds from our generation. Afterall, we are all Human.

True, not worth buying their cars because after sales is torture and you don't have many service centre options unlike other cities. Have an altroz and planning to dispose it off soon, stopped getting the service/bodywork done with them. Complete nonsense , having to take service appt 4 months in advance 😐
