My biggest complain from current generation of players is that: “_**Playing for India is no longer considered an honour. They say it is but in reality it’s treated more like a job nowadays.**_”

Prominent Players want sponsored rests too frequently and 10 match old players show entitlement to get included in playing eleven.

Newer players look upto IPL and cheap thrill of T20 and not Tests anymore.

Players are now about endorsements and money, with little to no interest in being an exceptional batsman or bowler.

For all their lack of shiny ICC titles one thing we cannot blame previous generations, is slacking or shying away from putting in the work. So, its not really a miracle that we had Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Kumble in and around same generations. Each of them were very exceptional at what they did.

All we have now is mediocre bench and line of batters and bowlers whose ego and entitlement knows no bounds. No one wants to put in the work to be exceptional, everyone wants to be just _**good enough**_.

What exactly is the reason that there is no punishment? Not even a fine? An apology letter that he has to read out? NOTHING????
