Why are teenagers who prepare for JEE/NEET the most annoying people on reddit?
jee exam is easier than upsc because most of the applicants arent actually studying properly
atleast for mains, questions are pretty easy ngl, its just the number of applicants that is tough, and even then most of them arent studying properly -

A Tale of Two Justice Systems: Only Trump Gets Convicted of 34 Felonies and Receives No Punishment | Public defenders and legal professionals said they never see the leniency offered to Trump given to other defendants.
One certainly does in Europe: they don’t tolerate cheating, bribery, scandals or corruption in their “leaders”. They throw the book at them, generally. And with vigour. America is *such a young country*. They just don’t get it. -
Cooked? Really?? People who are posting screenshots of 10%-15% losses asking if they are cooked need to understand this:
Totally agree. People are scaring the shit out of others and such fear-mongering serves no purpose and only creates unnecessary distress.
My portfolio is down 20% and I invested in fundamentally sound businesses after looking at the annual report, some industry wide analysis and what not. So I'm not even a tiny bit worried because I know it will bounce back. Maybe not as quick as it went down. Actually, definitely not as quick as it went down but it will bounce back.
So everyone should just sit down and relax. Spend time in the market, do just that. -

Why is India Reluctant to Take Bold Steps for Economic Transformation?
Many feel this government’s schemes often appear crony in nature, lacking inclusivity and public trust. Programs like Universal Basic Income (UBI) or initiatives in countries like Norway and Sweden, where students are financially supported for education, remain unexplored. Such measures could uplift lives and provide safety nets but are rarely prioritized here.
While private investment is crucial, the private sector often avoids areas like healthcare, education, or waste management because they aren't immediately profitable. This is why the government needs to step in to create jobs and invest in such sectors. Initiatives like rural healthcare, affordable housing, or waste-to-energy projects can improve lives, sustain themselves in the long run, and create employment opportunities. For instance, Indore’s waste-to-energy model, if scaled nationwide, could reduce diseases, manage waste, and generate jobs. In rural areas, where waste is burned, causing pollution and health risks, government intervention is essential as private players shy away. To do business, one must first invest; only then does profit follow.
PSUs remain critical, with profitable ones offering value, while loss-making ones need restructuring or privatization. Simultaneously, the government must build new PSUs in essential sectors to address gaps left by private investors. Countries like Vietnam and China attract businesses due to higher returns and fewer democratic constraints. In such a scenario, India must focus on job creation through direct government intervention, as the private sector cannot solely meet this demand.
Large cities create jobs but also bring problems like pollution, overcrowding, and long commutes, reducing the overall quality of life. Decentralization through smaller states and well-planned cities could address these challenges. GDP growth alone is insufficient if it doesn’t translate into better living standards.
Finally, the government needs to choose its direction: either focus on improving lives through programs like UBI, healthcare, and education, or adopt a liberalized approach like the USA, allowing industries with questionable morality to flourish under regulation. Whatever path is chosen, the focus must remain on creating jobs or, at the very least, implementing programs like UBI that can directly improve people’s lives. -
