Is India too noisy a country?
I live in tier two city.
During the wedding season, the people find it completely acceptable to play loud music for baraat. Ok understood and accepted. The family is happy. Barat is going to the wedding hall. Time is probably between 8pm to 10pm.
But the same music or dj is also played when the barat returns.
It is 2pm at night. We have elderly, children, people with sleep disorders, people with exams/offices next day or even a normal person trying to sleep.
How to sleep when the family next door wants to play a full dj with firecrackers at 2pm.?
So yes no.civic sense leading to noisy country. -

Corruption rate in India
That's annoying
Though why did you even need an agent to apply for a learning licence? I mean I didn't pay any agent when I applied for learning and later the main licence. Just watch a video on YouTube and you are good to go.
But yes I strongly agree corruption is pervasive in this countryđź« . -

Prices haven’t gone up in 2 years. Obviously they will go up at some point, With Amul going big in Karnataka, KMF needs to pay the diary suppliers/farmers good rate to stay competitive.

How to handle bike at such trails?
Both bikes honked and yet none of them waited for the other to pass, I feel like the girl on the bottom should've just let them pass.
The girl made the incline as if she didn't care, meanwhile the girl making the decline just adjusted to the scenario.
I mean come on, the top bike has already made it halfway through and was seen by the girl in the bottom, yet she just climbs up like it doesn't matter. -

I am open to paying one time donation to TN cm fund to match what would have come from union govt.
State govt should open such an option (like a long term bond or something) and ask tamils to contribute. Manage the fund transparently and show these sanghis how it's done.
Unfortunately the transparency part will never happen. -
Worried about my wife's conservative mindset
OP talk to her tell her that you come from a small town and have grown up with certain beliefs and customs. But now that you are in a different place, people here follow their own ways, and it's important to respect that. Asking about someone's caste or questioning their clothing style can make others uncomfortable. Everyone has their own way of life, and it's best to accept that without unnecessary questions. If you keep bringing these topics up, it might not be received well, and if it backfires, you might find yourself wanting to go back to your small town. I wouldn't be able to help in that case. So, it's better to adapt and be mindful of what you ask.
