Initial planning of Navi Mumbai was good. But with time, CIDCO, PMC and NMMC have ruined it. CIDCO acquired land at dirt cheap rates during 80-90 and is now selling them at market rate for 60 years lease. 1 Ha land near Panvel station has been given on lease for 60 years at a premium of 100 crores. CIDCO is also turning mangroves into NA plots which is harming the ecology of this area. Although initially the city was planned to have residential, industrial and commercial areas in sustainable proportion, now a days only residential buildings are only being planned, since IT park that was initially envisaged could not get off as successfully as planned. The pollution from construction sites and waste management is also very poor in Navi Mumbai. The residents of this city were supposed to work in the city itself. Instead it is serving as another Kalyan/Badlapur for people working in Mumbai.

Another thing is that Indians Don't go to the gym and look Healthy so that the clothes would fit perfectly well. Or at least don't buy clothes according to their size. They would wear Oversized clothes sometimes.

My experience was very different. I think Indian men have some of the coolest styles and color combos sometimes. Even some autowallas wear long sleeve shirt and pants. In the west they’re wearing shorts and tank tops. Of course if you’re poor you only have money for certain clothes and with limited quantity.

Hygiene is a different topic altogether.

1. Cuz the new standard for every other education board in india is to start teaching sst(history, civics, pol sci, econ) from 6th grade. Till that point their main focus revolves around the developing intrest about surrounding (mainly math and science) for the students. Cuz kids of that age tend to learn better from those things that they can see and visualise. And around age 11-12 they start to gain the capacity to under social dynamics at that point it's best to start teaching these sst subjects.


2. Rationalisation is the norm now. Other boards are cutting down on syllabus if we continue to incorporate a bigger syllabus at the end students of our state will be getting overall lower scores compared to avg in the country. So to keep student in this board they have to do this things else most parents will be like "heck my kid needs to study less elsewhere and he can gain better score card there why need to put more effort here?"
