I failed miserably in university and I was addicted to videogames and marihuana. By the time I finished my degree, I had a lot of self steem issues and nobody wanted to hire me, not even for internships. But yeah, to sum it up I would say it was severe anxiety.

Dont go for companies who ask for original docs or a blank cheque

Some companies do ask for a bond when you are freshly graduated and they have a bootcamp training for you often with conditions like 2 years of work or some X amount of money if you leave mid way. In this case, its totally your decision whether you want to go for it or not.

I went ahead with this, it was a 1lac bond. I left midway coz I got a better offer worth 3X their pay, they took the money but i got the training on different technologies. Took that 1 lac as a training course for corporate.

I mean, it’s worse. I’ve been through that but the best way is to cut off. Just deny their existence as soon as you can. Maybe attend the lecture and get out of there , you both can hangout after college and it will give some time to js stay off from it. She can get into some club or some competition to distract herself and it will also help her engage to more people juniors or seniors.
