Now back to your concern , the short answer is They just get there first. There are two types of actors in the dating context. Control type and relational type. The control type is all about numbers. They just hop from A to B to C really fast without intimacy or care . And for relational type it takes time and effort to establish the proper context. [No one likes toxic people. Someone who is to the point, no bullshit type guy may or may not be toxic, similarly an introvert may or may not be toxic. ] A very young , somewhat naive girl might be seduced by a control type ( but seduction is not love, don't mistake it as such) . The same thing happens to guys also who are young and inexperienced in romance. If you like someone make it known to that other clearly without much room for interpretation. If you want something from someone ask for it. Just don't beat around the bush. It makes interaction very difficult and emotionally draining.
