Married women, did your husband and in-laws change after marriage?
I hate them from the deepest core of my heart and I hate my husband even more because I married him not them. Unfortunately, in Indian society you have to live with the in-laws more than your husband.
I feel suffocating around them. Joint family system is the worst thing to exist. -
Is India too noisy a country?
Yes. I personally realized that most of the cities in our country are very noisy and polluted. Where I grew up and still live in the city—despite being quite popular in the western part—is still peaceful and has fresh air. But my worst experience regarding noise was when I recently traveled to Mathura. Oh good lord! It’s a good thing that they have e-rickshaws there, but the way they all unnecessarily honk? I was flabbergasted and embarrassed for us. The noise pollution is so bad over there. These guys will blast music loudly while driving and keep honking at the same time.
While having lunch in Mathura, I met an elderly Indian man who now lives in Europe but was visiting his family. As we talked, he shared how shocked he was by the pollution. He mentioned that the air quality had become unbearable and that he nearly fainted due to the combination of heat and poor air circulation. He kept comparing it to the cleaner, more controlled environment he was used to abroad. He said that Indians have gotten used to this poor environment and I couldn’t help but agree.
It’s not just Mathura, though—this has become a widespread issue in many cities. Honking has become a reflex for most drivers, even when it’s not needed. The constant noise from vehicles, construction work, and loudspeakers makes it almost impossible to find a moment of peace. On top of that, air pollution makes it worse. The mix of vehicle emissions, dust, and industrial smoke is suffocating, especially in crowded areas. It’s ironic how we’ve gotten used to such a toxic environment, to the point where many don’t even realize how unhealthy it is. -

Trump: "[USAID spent] $21 Million in India ... I guess they were trying to get somebody else elected". Who do you think CIA was trying to get elected, and why?
USAID is not a 100% CIA operation. They mostly do charity work while ensuring everyone speaks nicely of the US, and it provides an entry point if CIA ever needs it. CIA is not so stupid as to try to get an idiot like Rahul Gandhi elected. It is harder than eradicating cancer. Don't take your news from OP India like a WhatsApp unkil. -
Kuch ho skta kya mera?

Why do people buy iPhones with a 60Hz display and a shitty battery when they are overpriced compared to better value-for-money phones?
Some buy it as their friends have Apple and they need to fit in the ecosystem. Airdrop, imessage, etc
Some buy it as a status symbol
Some buy it as it is easier to operate for older people and relatively more secure in some terms.
Some buy it because they have a macbook or other apple product and want to experience ecosystem
Also as some family members have an iphone, Iphone guarantees good basics like a camera, speaker, Vibration motor, look and feel. Which is really an apple strength. -
Hey fellow tech PPL what are your thoughts
₹ 50 K is actually on the high end market. It's not worth it . Maybe if you already have X or below and are an apple fan it might be a good exchange. -

I saw an awesome house for sale but parking is on the road . ( sea facing- mangroves) would the car get ruined?
The car wouldn't be ruined if proper care is taken. However, I would think twice before buying a flat in a society that doesn't have parking facility.
I suppose you are a resident of Mumbai or Navi Mumbai considering the presence of mangroves. As a fellow resident, I would strongly advise you not to park on the street. Your car will always be at risk of vandalism and the spot where you are parking now (area in the photograph) could be turned into a footpath few years down the line. And with the population growing and an ever increasing appetite for 4 wheelers, there will soon be many more cars who will fight for limited street parking.
I wouldn't have said anything had you only been renting, but as you are likely to spend a small fortune on buying an apartment that you will likely stay at for a decade or more, it's silly to not have a private parking spot. -
Paid ₹10 for the ride, but lowkey felt like I was giving treasure to the e-rickshaw guy!
Ye mere sath bhi hai 😂...it's like giving gold coins .

Can't believe what I heard today
That's true, we all revere Maharaj but some Maratha organization are trying hard to project Maharaj's image as kattar hindu maratha, alienating other groups of people from his vision of Swarajya.
