Imagine you come to Tamilnadu and settle here but you have a problem, you have an allergy to Brinjal in food. (Also you dont have a provision to cook yourself and depended on restaurants).
Now imagine, the eateries &restaurants force that only if you consume brinjal curry then we will serve you food how'll you feel?

Same is happening to us. Everywhere -Bank/railway counter/postal office/insurance office the staffs are forcing to speak in hindi even the challans and forms are in hindi. Why cant they learn to understand the local language. Hindi is none's language.
Even in official meetings in foreign countries ,why you ppl converse in hindi ?

If at all i have to settle in North india, I'll learn the local language+culture of that state. Like punjabi,gujarati,marathi,rajasthani,bhojpuri,Assamese

As you quoted ,the problem is that you seeing it in outsider mindset.
If you have some empathy left in you, you'll understand our feelings and the way we are being forced down.
