Cost to market. They use limited resources to build product and sell it for a high price . This creates a good net profit.

For a company that is over 20 yrs old, you would expect them to build some new SaaS like how Slack/Figma/Zoom disrupted the market , but instead they still to copying such products with medicore technologies and less pricing.


Overall, its a good company to start your career but if you decide to stay there forever, you are missing out on a lot things

Art is subjective, so calling him great is upto one's own conscience. Obviously he excels at set design and visual storytelling as you've mentioned, he also is able to extract some brilliant performances from his actors(although abusive sometimes). He's shown some good promise apart from the prior mentioned strengths in guzaarish and black,I'd also say gangubai had a decent story in the first half atleast, honestly gotta wait for love and war to really cement an opinion.
