You buy when you have enough cushion to buy. In my view, the prices are sensitive to the looming layoffs that you're referring to so it won't rise much beyond what has already happened. Nothing wrong in deferral of home purchase until there's financial stability. Obviously, if rent is near about equal to emi, you're better off buying so even in turbulent times,if you have some cushion for rent due for 6months you can still buy.

Don't buy a flat for fomo. Buy it if you need it ( family / stability), buy what you need , not what you want. You can always upgrade to a better one later.

I think the past decade or so of protests have shown that they do absolutely nothing to threaten power. It's general strike or nothing, and any sort of working class solidarity that may have existed has been thoroughly beaten out of us

- स्वतःची मातृभाषा यायलाच हवी
- जिथे योग्य तिथे बोलली पाहिजे
- काम धंद्यासाठी जर दुसरी भाषा बोलावी लागली तर त्यात काही वावगे नाही.
- कुणी कितीही म्हणा पण जगभरात इंग्रजी वापरली जाते. ती वापरण्यात मला तरी काही वावगे वाटत नाही
- भारतात अन्य भाषा पण आहेत, त्यांचा द्वेष करण्यात काही फायदा नाही

मी गेली तीन दशकं आणि काही वर्षे अमेरिकेत राहतो. माझी दोन्ही मुलं इथेच जन्मली पण त्यांना अस्खलित मराठी येते कारण आम्हीं त्यांना लहानपणापासून शिकवले.

आधी मी नोकरी करायचो. मग स्वतःचा सॉफ्टवेअर व्यवसाय सुरू केले. माझ्या स्वतःच्या गेल्या दोन स्टार्टअप चे development सेंटर मुंबईत होते. आता तिसऱ्या स्टार्टअप चे सुद्धा तेथे आहे आणि टीमचे दोघे हैदराबादला आहेत.

आणि अजून काही व्यवसाय आहेत मुंबईत. त्यामुळे मी लहानपणापासून मुंबईत वाढताना हिंदी, थोडी गुजराती शिकलो. त्याचा मला खूप उपयोग होतो. आता थोडीशी तेलगू शिकतोय. इथे अमेरिकेत थोडी स्पॅनिश मला माझ्या मुलांनी शिकवली आहे.

Secondly, at the very least from 26th February until 27th, it is advised that you don't eat any non-veg food, garlic or onion for the Shivratri fast. This is what I plan to do because I am still in early stages of healing after surgery. Or if you want to be more austerie, only take water. Thirdly, reciting Sri Rudram and performing Abhishekam over a Lingam is considered very auspicious, on MahaShivratri. Again, this can be done in Om Swami's app. Lastly, listening to the past times of Lord Shiva, vis a vis the Shiva MahaPuranam, all night or reading them is considered highly recommended.
