  14. which state do you think will eventually win the tourism game in north east india in about a decade or two?

    For me, Sikkim , meghalaya and arunachal. I put my sikkim at the front place, bcoz we do have decent infrastructure to accommodate tourists plus we do have a decent reputation amongst the other northeastern states. In terms of infrastructure, arunachal is still lagged behind but nowadays I see the surge of tourism popping out from arunachal. Having a scenic landscape isn't enough, tourism largely depends on infrastructure and it's welcoming people. Arunachal have an abundance of scenic beauties ranging from plains to the snowy mountains, but it doesn't have good infrastructure needed for tourism. Other northeastern states doesn't have the spark needed for tourism except for meghalaya. All other north eastern states can opt for cultural tourism who doesn't have any extraordinary landscape and infrastructure. To be honest, except for sikkim and meghalaya and arunachal(who are slowly catching up) , other northeastern states have a long way to go.
