Trucks are definitely needed to support life, however cycle and bikes are risky modes on roads where trucks are there.

Just blaming truck driver is also wrong as bigger the vehicle, harder it is so see every corner and there are many blind spots.

Outside India there are very strict laws, insurance for bike is very high so people would usually not afford them. Even bikes are expensive.

Cycles are prohibited on big roads. And they should be in India as well.
