A lot of them specifically seek out Western European guys because they’re seen as more stable and family-oriented.

For Indian women, it's a mix of factors. A lot of them have probably had bad experiences growing up—whether it's being overly policed by family or dealing with guys who don’t really know how to talk to women. So, when they get into an interracial relationship, it feels like a fresh start. Some overcorrect and start trashing Indian men to reinforce their new identity, even when no one asked.

Honestly, the best move for Indian guys is to not take it personally and just focus on being better. I believe mostly the resentment stems due to language issue. Personally, I don't mind them not knowing the regional language when they are here to work, however, I believe a lot of North Indians have entitlement that everyone should learn Hindi or know Hindi. If they let go of that, most people would be fine with North Indians.
