South Indians will be shown in a cingy way
Marathis as low level people who can only beg
Every poor character will be made to speak in a fake accent to make them sound bhojpuri ( even if they can't)
Gujjus will be shown cringey stereotypical bussinessmen
Only Punjabis get the privilege of being portrayed positively in Hindi films
Rest of the country remains streotyped

Also need not say that all the states where Hindi was accepted have the film industries wrecked now our actors are offered cheap roles
South ones didn't accept Hindi
They were successful now they get positive lead roles

The first basic is to reject bollywood then only the regional films will have their original audience and will get recognition like the Telugu,Tamil , Malayalam and Kannada movies

As a local, I can say this: Goans are susegaad. And it’s a good thing.

India’s work culture is unhealthy, toxic and overworks you. So we usually have jobs that are efficient, don’t cause stress or take our entire lives.

Two things: Firstly, I make an assumption that your baseline comparison is taken from the work culture you see elsewhere. Like I said, super toxic, and should NEVER be used for comparison of work ethic.

Secondly, most of the stuff you’ve mentioned are jobs Goans would outsource, or the ones immigrants choose after moving to Goa. Granted the taxi costs in some instances are driven by taxi mafia, part of which are Goan, but otherwise the rest of your example aren’t really down to Goans. For instance, carpenters and other labourers are more commonly of the immigrant demographic. Most other Goans either have desk jobs, run their own businesses (not going to disclose it as some have already been ruined by exposure), work for international firms, or choose to go abroad.

And as someone said, most Goans are happy and satisfied with that they have and don’t need to work in toxic environments to earn more or anything else.
