Going to live alone for the first time
I was also in the same boat, couple of years back. I had never lived alone before in my life, and coming to Hyderabad, was the first time I lived alone.
I was also extremely nervous and excited at the same time. I did not know cooking, never cleaned regularly before, never washed clothes, was never aware of what the Electricity bill was and so many other things.
But now, I know all of them, and I now have the confidence that I would be able to survive everywhere.
However, all the activities that I mentioned above, don't make it seem like a chore. If you don't feel like cooking, then order something nice.
Make your flat your sanctum, decorate it the way you want without any restrictions.
Try a fancy recipe, binge watch any series. No one is there to question you.
Also, ensure that the flat is cleaned regularly, either by you, if not possible, then by a maid. Having a clean flat provides a great feeling whenever you walk in to the house, or step out from your room in the morning.
With regards to loneliness, go out regularly, and keep yourself occupied in other things as well. Try various new activities. In case you make friends, then that's perfect. You can have them over, cook for them, have sleepovers, or you could also go to their place for the night. You don't have to worry about returning home late.
All the best for your new journey:) -

Going to live alone for the first time
As much as I love to live alone, at least one roommate would be a very good thing! Personally- Just having fun or cracking jokes after a long day helps a lot more than screen time. Good luck though :) -
Living at the speed of life
After Dark, Memory Reboot, Dido - thankyou, Narvent- Clam Night, Shootout, Etc. on my earphones and i walk home at night everyday from those Liminal Spaces. Such a unforgettable feeling, a mixture of Nostalgia and a kind of loneliness... -
